Andrea Ballestra
italian artist based in Madrid
Works at the intersection of
sculpture, photography and printmaking.
Commissioned wall sculptures
and studio originals.
Pieces that bridge past, present and future.
Original sculptural wall artworks made with plaster, resin and textured surfaces
My art explores the tension between construction and decay, where form is reduced to its essential presence.
These works emerge through layered processes involving resin, plaster, print-making and industrial materials. Surfaces are created and destroyed, allowing the material to express itself.

The Artist
I create works that hold the passage of time within them, not as it is now, but as it will be.
Pieces that bridge past, present and future.
Artworks that feel already lived-in, carrying memory, erosion, and permanence.
Each work becomes a question: what remains when everything else changes?
I have worked on commisions for major international artists, including Manolo Valdès and Cristina Iglesias.
As a sculptor involved in large-scale, high-value projects, I have developed a wide range of technical expertise across epoxy, bronze, wax, and plaster—applying the same level of precision and creative input to each client commission.
