We get consumed by life, all the scars and adventures define us, leaving a permanent imprint. The Ego slowly dissolves through time, leaving nothing more than a shadow behind us, in the memory of the people who knew us. I wanted to aesthetically represent, how the more we grow, the more we get closer to our expiration date and eventually vanish.
The visual language is inspired by analog rolls of color film, where the orange-toned background glows softly while the subject stands in contrast. When I make my creations, I look for an eternal truth, that implies the passage of time within itself. Trying to over ride the gap between past,present and future.
I bring the piece into a more spiritual dimension, where the physical form and the inner response it provokes, are represented within the work.
