Inspired by spontaneous moments, encounters and places, this collection brings together some of my best images: fragments of life worth preserving before they disappear into memory. Together, they create a visual narrative that can be experienced across a wall, a room or an entire interior.

My photography focuses on fleeting moments in everyday life. These situations often go overlooked by many, Before we realize it, what we are living through has already become part of the past.
These moments cannot stay with us, and we have to move forward with our lives. Photography is my way of preserving, at least in part, what once was.
Telling a subtle story in the space that each person can discover and interpret it in their own way.

Signed & Numbered
Framing & Shipping
Framed sets are in black wooden frames with glass, they come ready to hang. Unframed prints are shipped flat. They have protective backing to keep their surface safe and prevent bending during transit.
I individually prepare and ship every collection from Madrid, within 2-4 working days. Shipping within the Eu, at a flat rate of €15, whether you choose framed or unframed. The studio covers the rest. If any piece arrives damaged in transit, it will be replaced at no additional cost for the buyer.
As an artist, I always strive for maximum quality, I would not place my name on a low quality product. You don’t like it? Send it back, I will refund your purchase.

The Artist Behind the Collection.
My name is Andrea Ballestra, I am an artist from Milan, Italy.
I began my artistic practice at ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands. I arrived without a formal background in art, and my first year was a complete failure. My photography professor suggested I switch fields. He said art and photography weren’t for me.
Obviously, I ignored him.
Four years later, I graduated. The local press named me one of the year’s most interesting graduates.
After moving to Spain, while developping my studio practice, I worked as a sculptor on projects for well known artists, including Manolo Valdés and Cristina Iglesias. The latest of these projects was Cristina Iglesias’s Aurora Borealis Star Dome. I was the sculptor responsible for creating the work in wax before it was cast in aluminium. The finished sculpture is a 5-meter dome. It’s now permanently placed in Princess Estelle Sculpture Park, the park of the King, in Stockholm, Sweden. (Read More About My Commission Work)
Today, I create photography, sculpture and commissioned artworks for collectors, designers and architects. Each work stays true to my visual style, shifting between image and materials using plaster, epoxy, metal, and printmaking.

The photographs (up to 50 x 70 cm) establish rhythm and continuity across the space, while the original artwork provides a distinctive material presence.
The commissioned artwork (up to 70 cm) will remain true to my artistic language, while its colours and materials can be adapted to the aesthetic needs of your project. (total production time is around 10 days)
Choose the artistic style you like most within my portfolio, and choose the 6 photographs that best fit your space, along with the specific sizes for your project. Send me the screenshots of your selection, I will create the artwork uniquely for you, and after the final revisions, ship the entire selection to you.

LARGE-SCALE SCULPTURE
Need a Large Scale center piece for your space?
Commission a large-scale artwork based on my visual language and costumized in response to your space.
This is for larger walls or hospitality projects that require a stronger physical presence, I accept a limited number of large-scale commissions, up to 3 metres in height.
I work across plaster, epoxy, bronze and printmaking.
Large – Scale Commissions, start at €5,000.
Each commission is developed directly with the client, considering the site, scale, materials and intended presence of the work.
