I don’t know how I created this picture. I was taking photographs in the forest, capturing my model in different positions, thinking the trees and the landscape were absolutely perfect for the shot. Yet, once I developed the film, this image emerged. It looks like a lady dragging or lifting a towel from the ground—almost as if she was peeling back a new layer of reality while walking away from me.

The thing is, we didn’t have any towels with us, nor was there any human-made structure nearby. My camera captured something mystical, revealing a presence I was completely unaware of. The model looks like a spirit, an evanescent presence, and the landscape around her seems to be glitching, vanishing into thin air. To this day, this photograph is a mystery to me.
